What is CaribConnect?
CaribConnect is a Caribbean ferry company created to reconnect the islands of the region through accessible and environmentally responsible maritime travel. Our mission is to make it easier for both residents and travelers to explore the Caribbean by sea.
Which destinations does CaribConnect connect?
CaribConnect focuses on routes between the Greater and Lesser Antilles, connecting key islands such as Martinique, Guadeloupe, Saint Lucia, Dominica, Dominican Republic, Jamaica, Puerto Rico, Antigua, Barbados and other Caribbean destinations.
Why choose ferry travel instead of flying?
Ferry travel offers a more sustainable and scenic way to explore the Caribbean. On comparable short routes, flights can emit up to 50–100% more CO₂ per passenger than maritime travel. Traveling by sea also allows passengers to enjoy the Caribbean landscape and travel at a more relaxed pace.
Who can travel with CaribConnect?
Our services are open to both Caribbean residents and international travelers who wish to explore the region in a more authentic and flexible way.
Does CaribConnect offer special fares or discounts?
Yes. CaribConnect is committed to making travel across the Caribbean more accessible and inclusive. Several discounted fares are available depending on the passenger’s profile.
Caribbean residents discount :
Passengers who can present a valid ID issued by a Caribbean country or territory benefit from a 20% discount on all routes across the network.
In addition, for journeys between two specific islands, residents of the departure or destination island benefit from a special local fare of 50% off the standard ticket price.
For example, on a Guadeloupe – Dominican Republic route, both Guadeloupean and Dominican residents would receive a 50% discount.
This policy applies to residents of all Caribbean islands and territories, including:
Anguilla, Antigua and Barbuda, Aruba, Bahamas, Barbados, Bonaire, British Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands, Cuba, Curaçao, Dominica, Dominican Republic, Grenada, Guadeloupe, Haiti, Jamaica, Martinique, Montserrat, Puerto Rico, Saint Barthélemy, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, Saint Martin / Sint Maarten, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Trinidad and Tobago, Turks and Caicos Islands, and the United States Virgin Islands.
Children discount :
Children under 12 years old who are not Caribbean residents receive a 30% discount upon presentation of a valid ID.
Student discount :
Students receive a 15% discount upon presentation of a valid student ID.
For Caribbean residents, these reductions are cumulative.
For example, a Caribbean child traveling between two islands may benefit from the 50% local residents fare and the 30% children discount, applied to the ticket price.
These fares reflect our mission to encourage mobility within the Caribbean while keeping travel affordable for local communities.
Does CaribConnect offer travel passes?

Do I need a visa to travel between Caribbean islands?
Visa requirements depend on your nationality and the destination island. Many Caribbean countries allow visa-free entry for short tourist stays, but passengers should always check the entry requirements of their destination before traveling.
How long are the ferry journeys?
Travel times vary depending on the route. Short inter-island crossings may take between 1 and 3 hours, while longer routes between major islands may take 8 to 12 hours.
Are overnight journeys available?
